My personal photographic series “Bittersweet Metamorphosis” is a manifestation of my fascination with subculture and the desire to explore alternative lifestyles. This is a document focused on the lives of partially-and fully transgendered women in Bangkok, Thailand. The photographs examine the politics and beauty of those who’ve broken from their roots to embark on new lives in sexually reassigned bodies.
